Preposition "Between" এবং "Among" এর ব্যবহার

Rule-1:

সাধারণত দুইটি ব্যক্তি বা বস্তু ক্ষেত্রে Between ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Examples:

⇨ He divided money ------ the two children.

Rule-2:

 দুইয়ের অধিক ব্যক্তি বা বস্তু এর ক্ষেত্রে among ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Examples:

⇨  He was happy to be ------ friends.

⇨ Our teacher told the monitor to hand out sctipts ------ the class.

⇨ You boys must settle it ------ yourselves.

⇨ The divisions ------ the various classes of society are not so sharply marked as they used to be

Rule-3:

Proper noun দুইয়ের অধিক থাকলেও between ব্যবহৃত হবে।

Examples:

⇨  Share the mangoes ------ Rahim, Karim, Jasmine and Ripon.

Rule-4:

স্বতন্ত্রতা, পারস্পরিক সম্পর্ক, ভৌগোলিক অবস্থান প্রকাশে দুইয়ের অধিক বুঝালেও between ব্যবহৃত হবে।

Examples:

⇨ SAARC  is treaty ------ eight countries.

⇨ Luxemberg lies ------ Belgium, Germany and France.

⇨ Nepal lies ------ India, China and Bhutan.

⇨ Switzerland lies ------ France, Germany, Italy and Australia.

⇨ The growth in trade ------ SAARC countries remains constrained by border issues.

Rule-5:

একসাথে দুইয়ের অধিকের মধ্যে তুলনার ক্ষেত্রে সঠিকভাবে between ব্যবহার করা যায়।

⇨ There is a great difference ------ New York, London and Paris.
