Preposition "On" এর ব্যবহার

Rule-1:

স্পর্শ অবস্থায় উপরে বা সংস্পর্শে থাকা বুঝাতে on বসে।

Examples:

⇨ Put me book ------ the table.

Rule-2:

নির্দিষ্ট দিন বা বারের নামের পূর্বে on বসে।

Examples:

⇨ I went to meet him ------ last Monday.

⇨ I shall see you ------ Monday.

⇨ Come to my birthday party ------ Saturday night.

Rule-3:

কোনো কমিটি, সংস্থা,  প্রতিষ্ঠান ইত্যাদির সদস্য বুঝাতে তাদের পূর্বে on বসে।

Examples:

⇨ There is no women ------ the committee.

⇨ I did not know that he was ------ the committee.

⇨ I am not ------ the committee.

Rule-4:

কোনো কিছু সম্বন্ধে  অর্থে on বসে।

Examples:

⇨ This is a book ------ pregnancy.

⇨ I have just finished reading a book ------ the sub-Saharan economy.

 Rule-5:

 যন্ত্র বা মাধ্যম  যার মাধ্যমে কোনো কিছু দেখা যায় এরূপ বুঝাতে সেই যন্ত্র বা মাধ্যমের পূর্বে on বসে।

Examples:

 ⇨ The pictures moved ------ the screen.

⇨ We watch football matches ------ Television.

Rule-6:

ভ্রমেণের কোনো উপায় বুঝাতে on বসে।

Examples:

⇨ I went there ------ my bike.

⇨ I prefer come to work ------ foot.
